Be in the Moment

I sit. I wait. The camera in my hand. The world ahead of me…

Being in the moment.

The sun rises, and I watch. The desert road empty. Just me and open space. I wait.

We do what we love because it makes us feel. We do what we love because it’s a way for us to escape that dreaded 9-5 job. Whatever it may be. Whatever it is that we’re into. You have a driving passion. It urges you to go out and be. To live.

I sit. I wait. The camera in my hand. The sun glaring in my eyes. I see a vulture. It floats and hovers above. Waiting… Searching… The dead, still silence. The desert. Me. The world.

I bring my camera’s viewfinder to my eye. I wait… I follow the vulture. Nature going about it’s way.

He waits…

I wait…

It searches…

I search…

He finds it’s prey and swoops in, and within a fraction of a second, I snap. I freeze time. I witness mother nature’s creature at work. It’s way to survive.

Just me and the world. I wait.

Being in the moment…

Do what you love. Make the most of it. Go out there and take in the life that you were blessed to have. Write it down. Make a story. Take a photo. Make a video. Paint. Pour every ounce of soul into it.

Just remember to be… In the moment.
